The way most people make their money on the internet is through sales of one kind or another

For those of you who are interested in getting into it, what it takes is a tried and proven method. That, and the work of you actually learning it. Then doing it.
Finding your way through this marketing maze to a method that’s right for you can be a little hazardous. An awful lot of the people who are supposedly showing you “the way” are really just dumping an Ebook and a couple of charts in your lap for $29 to $97 and then going on looking for their next customer.
There are a bunch of really good online marketers, that consider it their pleasure to show you exactly how they did it for themselves. Sometimes…you have to wonder…WHY would they show you the “exact” way they make a ton of money?
You probably wonder, as I did… if these are secrets, why are they showing them to me?
Because it makes them a ton of money AND they know the failure rate is over 95%! Maybe worse. So they’re really NOT building up their own competition…they are “Fleecing the Rubes”.
So they market to wannabee internet marketers and they do it in the most effective way possible because they know how!
And there is also this idea! These guys are Internet Marketing geniuses who made a ton when it was far easier to do so. I take nothing away from them… they ARE smart!
But now, to sell “How to Make Money Online” products or advice puts you, as the marketer, in a “puny” position. Kinda like you are fishing from the shore with your little pole and they are using factory fishing ships, nets, a team of experienced assistants, and money in large amounts.
They market economic salvation to people who are in economic trouble.
I actually didn’t want to say that right there, but sometimes I just can’t stop myself.
But what about the rest of us?
There’s a way for you to sell “How to Make Money On the Internet” info for a profit but you’ll have to “position” yourself first or consign yourself to being an “affiliate among a sea of affiliates”.
That doesn’t mean you can’t do it!
You just gotta do it a certain way or you’ll try to dig a ditch the size of the Grand Canyon with a tiny shovel.

Starting out, most prospective Internet Marketers(IM) don’t even know IM is “selling”.
It IS selling, but it is the EASIEST selling in the world. I ought to know.
I sold door to door over 40 years ago. I sold at retail stores. I sold at flea markets. I sold wholesale. And…ONE TIME…I got a huge, horrible truck, and I drove it hundreds of miles to load it up with inexpensive wholesale furniture.
Then I drove it hundreds of miles to a hardscrabble outback town out in Oregon and set it all out in a bar’s parking lot.
Note: The week before I pulled into town with my load of furniture I placed an ad in the local newspaper telling the local folks that my truck would be broken down in the parking lot of a well-known beer tavern on Friday and that we would be considering ALL offers to sell the load, fix our truck, and get out of town.
The first day we sold over 9 thousand dollars worth of this stuff and had a 3 thousand dollar profit! The FIRST day! I knew I was going to be rich! The next day it SNOWED!! We were out of business!
Now, I know it sounds kinda fun and it was…sometimes. I did it for about 40 weekends. It got to be a real grind for many reasons and I went on to other forms of marketing. Yes, this was marketing. “Parking Lot Marketing”. In other towns!
Not a career. Hard…very hard.
Then there is Internet Marketing. Hard in a different, gentler way.
