Something great is starting to happen! This blog is starting to receive traffic that types in some variation of “targeted traffic.”
The reason I’m happy about that is because it is what I set out to do. I want targeted traffic! Who wouldn’t, once you understand what it is.
And, once you understand what it is, all you have to do is learn how to get it!
It’s easier than you think AND many search engine marketers consider FREE targeted traffic to your website to be the “Holy Grail” of traffic generation. Traffic you specifically “target.”
I’m starting to get more traffic from Google because I learned some very basic keyword research tips that make it possible for me to pick keywords that I can rank for. That causes TRAFFIC!
Prospects. People who you can sell something to.
People who want something so much that they thank you for it afterwards.
Now this post is going to rank for “Targeted Web Site Traffic, targeted website traffic, targeted internet traffic and targeted traffic.”
The type of person who would type that key phrase into the search box is probably interested in learning how to get targeted traffic to his offer pages.
That’s because, if you don’t learn to get the right traffic to your offer pages you are finished before you start.
The formula for making money in direct sales via the internet is simple.
Offer + Traffic = Sales.
But the key to it is that we don’t want just any old kind of traffic.
We want traffic that is A. Free! and B. Highly targeted.
Highly targeted means that they are “sorted” by keywords that indicate the strength of their interest in what you are selling is high.

The keywords that I am targeting with this post are targeted web site traffic, targeted traffic, and targeted web traffic.
Those three keywords have a combined “exact” search per month of about 8000.
Since I am optimizing this post in the best ways for those keywords I expect to hit the first page of the search engines in less than 3 to 4 weeks.
When that happens I would expect about 3000+ visitors a week. For THIS page!
