Hello Folks!
Well, it’s been a long and interesting trip for me.
I spent the first year (2007) jumping from one thing to another, and, hopefully, learning a bit as I went.
The second year, (2008) against solid advice, I started a “How to make money online” site and set up an autoresponder and started to build a list. Oops!
What was I THINKING! I guess I was like a lot of others in that I thought I could tell other people, even lower in the learning chain, that they needed me! It wasn’t right. I didn’t know enough to show you anything!
That’s ambitious. For a newbie! You have to have a whole bunch of emails to send to your subscribers! I still have the first 40 or so and when I go back and read them, it embarrasses me that I could sound so amateurish.
I’m not used to feeling like an amateur. I’m 61 years old and I built several businesses in the offline world and I promoted them and I sold them. They are still carrying on.
But this is online. A whole new world to many and me.

This year, I’m starting to get some traction. I see money moving INTO my accounts!
It just kills me when some good person, some from as far as Australia, buys something from me and the whole thing happens while I’m doing any number of other things, like sleeping. They got what they wanted to buy and my Paypal account went UP instead of DOWN!
It happens because I learned to build simple, automated websites, and I also learned how to drive traffic to them! That’s it. All I know. Except for a little keyword research and jiggling the web for some faster rankings.
This isn’t magic. It isn’t a secret.
Secrets are just things you don’t know yet.
Do you like the idea of working out of your house, anytime you want, dressed as you want?
If you like the idea of sitting up at your house, like I do, with a nice homey office with big bay windows and the Pacific Northwest just outside your space with Squirrels, Raccoons, Crows, Ravens, Wild Turkeys, Dogs, Cats, Deer and sometimes Elk moving through the thick old forest, I would gladly welcome you to the area.
Not my house - looks like my forest.
But you can do this from anywhere. IF you have a good computer and a fast connection to the world wide web. If you know how.
And I can tell you how to know how.
First, don’t get in a rush. Learn the terminology and the jargon of the business so you won’t be overwhelmed by the discussions held by masters at this who can breeze right past a few terms that just leave your head spinning in the wind.
I have a little start for you that will help to capture an understanding of this trade but it’s just a start.
It’s an Internet Marketing Glossary.
And here are my recommendations:
1. For the newest of prospective online marketers.
2. For those who have advanced and want to get going.
3. For those ready for some more advanced stuff.
My advice is for you to learn something every day. Not just read about it. Implement it.
Make it work. You can do it. As long as your head is not spinning with other ideas.
Here’s a fact. 95% of the people coming through here never get traction and get to making money online. Of the 5% – half of them don’t do so well, but if they stick with it – they can!
That leaves the 2 and 1/2% of the motivated, and qualified, individuals that are going to find one of the coolest ways to make money and lots of it!
If you are one of those, and you should know, I hope I meet you some day.
I say that because the people I have met in this business, along the way, are mostly super-nice folks and very helpful. I REALLY like them. They call me back! They answer my emails!
So, it’s at this point that I pull out my sage advice aimed at those intrepid souls that dare to advance onto our shores, in the Internet Marketing World, and manage not to get picked off by the ravenous hoards of super marketers who know what a beginner can’t resist. They eat them alive.
My advice – decide to go slow.
Align yourself with people that seem trustworthy. Find the thing about Internet Marketing that you are the most puzzled by and grind on that until you are no longer mystified.
Every time you do this you’ll end up seeing the business more clearly because the fog of uncertainty will fade and reveal more to you, as it should.
Learning is a process that takes time and it doesn’t do well in the fast food rhythm.
This is serious business. Making money.
But this business, when you have the right product, for the right crowd, and a means to deliver the sales pitch to that market, is a championship opportunity and that same opportunity exists daily in thousands of markets, with thousand of products, and there is ALWAYS a crack in the niche for you to move in on. Action, baby.
There is more information on this blog than anyone would need to get started.
So listen to this, get all you can from here (this blog). Don’t go spinning off into the vortex of confusion you’ll encounter if you start spinning.
Settle down – here is my page on how to get started.
Thank you again – you guys are great!
Here’s to your success,

PS: Oops! I almost forgot. I want you to hear my version of the “Internet Marketing Formula.” It got me moving!
Here it is. Offer + Traffic = Sales.
That’s it. Simple? Yes. Easy? No.
But it can be done and once you have it up and running, it gets a LOT easier.

"What I offer here is the story of my progress from beginner to actually making money online."
