Here Comes The Sun!

Hello Folks!

Home Made Solar Panels have made themselves known at the West household at this cold, end of the year, frenzy we all get caught up in.

When it comes to marketing online I got started in 2007 when I discovered that I could drive traffic to websites for furniture stores. What a revolution that was. That was online marketing for offline operators. I’m still doing it.

I was making money online and learning fast but I still had no idea of things like websites, blogs, squidoo, autoresponders, hyperlinks, one time offers,and all the general stuff that goes with online marketing.

Then, recently, a Clickbank offering about Home Made Solar Panels caught my eye and I’m jumping on it with both feet.

Next week I’ll be building my first panels.

The last time this happened to me was in 1972 when I built a nice wood frame for a bed for myself and my young bride. I built it out in the garage and while I was at it I built two more beds.

That weekend I took them out to the flea market and sold both of them for 400 dollars – about a 300 dollar profit – and I didn’t quit making and selling beds for about 20 years. In that time I hired a bevy of workers and was selling about 1.5 million dollars of these wooden beds per year.

Eventually I sold that off and started looking around for other things. I did several things that looked promising but I always tended to get mixed up in manufacturing of wood furniture and marketing that, which I am still in.

So now I have my eyes on two similar things. Similar in that they can be marketed.

My first job with this great set of plans and instructional videos for building professional grade solar panels will be to immediately build a few.

I’ve already got some employees so my wheels are spinning. AND yes, there seems to be a vibrant market for solar panels on EBAY! And who knows where else?

Since I am going to know a bit about  these “Make Your Own Solar Panels” plans and videos (a Clickbank product) I have already (yesterday) started a site for selling the plans themselves. See Home Made Solar Panels.

After all, if I like the plans, and I really do, there must be a bunch more people that would like to see them.

I’m just the guy they ought to talk to. I’ll let you know how that goes.
