It was only a year ago that I knew almost NOTHING about Internet Marketing. I
You Can Do This!
know more now but the effect it has had has been to elevate me to a position where I can see that I have barely scratched the surface!
Apparently, this “marketing by means of the Internet” subject is a darned large subject in which there is always more you can learn.
Right now I’m specializing and that would be this blog and my article marketing efforts. Essentially, I use article marketing to drive traffic to this blog or, in some cases certain blog pages.
From there I hope to provide value to my visitors, tell them what I know, and, possibly sell them something they can use to enhance their efforts.
This blog is a chronicle of my advance from knowing NOTHING about Internet Marketing in 2006 to knowing quite a little bit of it around the end of 2008.
Everything I’ve got to offer is right here. It’s just the basics.
The basics are all I know. But, with help from my friends I have built an online business.
I can easily remember when I first encountered the Online Marketing arena. My intial reaction was like… Well! This is big. Really big. And it’s growing!
Before that I had no idea. This marketplace is not just huge…it renews itself everyday!
It’s like a river. It looks the same today but that’s different water than yesterday.
This is the Internet. The single biggest repository of people and information in the known Universe.
Every day tens of thousands of people wash up onto the shores of the Internet Marketing World and begin their advance up the beach. Many are picked off by scavenging scam artists and never get a chance. Others move carefully, maybe finding their way, maybe not.
And what are these newcomers looking for?
It varies in theme but the core idea is to earn money in some way right on the internet with their computer.
Newcomers are drawn to it like moths to a light! They need money or hate their job…many reasons.
Even more reasons now, since the economic turndown.
There’s a standard discussion of the benefits of online marketing that include low-cost startup and, in the case of selling of downloadable info products, low to no cost in product.
If there is one thing, one overarching need all internet users are looking for, it HAS to be information.
Information to solve a problem or to enlighten them.
There is a whole other world of marketing on the web, and that’s the sale of physical products!
That’s REALLY BIG TOO! I’d say that information entrepreneurs are a huge portion of the total and the rest is the sale of physical products or services. I mean look at EBAY! 300 million users.
Making money on the Internet is absolutely incredible. A few nights ago, my lovely wife and I were having a drink in the early evening when I heard the distinct sound of a paypal deposit. We laughed and sort of cheered.
To a lot of folks making money online is like alchemy…only cleaner! We make money on the web out of clear air. It’s nothing short of magic.
I know what it feels like to make money online and I’m here to tell you it feels every bit as good as you might think it would ! If you want to do the same I’d like to help get you started.
And I might be able to do that! I’m a complete pro at starting…few people would want to take longer to hit income than I did!
I studied the “basics” for a year before I took in one nickel.
I started to become capable of making money online when I got reasonably competent at building webpages (soon to become salespages) and driving traffic to those mostly with article marketing and this blog.
Those three things…Webpages – Wordpress Blog – Article Marketing for Targeted Traffic are what got me going. There are thousands of marketers out there using the same stuff and it can work for you, too. It’s just the basics and the basics work!
In the meantime, in the hopes you are interested, here is a listing of what I offer to help your career along. My products have two purposes. The first one is to teach the skills needed to succeed in Internet Marketing…
And the second purpose in each of my products is to earn you money by giving you something to sell!

1. Blogs with content and good offers on them. Blogs have largely replaced HTML websites since they are so easy to install and use.
2. Traffic to these Blogs and Webpages! (Article Marketing)
That’s your Infrastructure. For which you need some tools and a little research.

You could start a blog like this, put those four products on it for sale, and drive traffic to the blog. Links in your blog will then send your traffic to the offers and some folks will buy.
It doesn’t come much more packaged up then that! Plus, these are not saturated out there, and, these products I have here are evergreen. People will always need them. After all, they are the basics.
